BREAST IMPLANT LAS VEGAS POST RECOVERY

Patients who undergo augmentation mammoplasty procedure or breast revision surgery must follow strict rules and adhere to these rules postoperative to prevent complications, including bleeding hematomas and infections. Postoperative breast implant patients are instructed to wear the Bias wrap for 24 hours as well as be maintained on antibiotics for 7 days. Vicodin ES is often given. For pain or nausea from Codeine, Darvocet N100 will be given.

Linder BraThe patients are seen on postop day one at which time the Bias wrap dressings are removed and replaced with clean, dry dressings. At this time, a Linder Bra can be placed. The Dr. Linder Bra allows for compression as well as support. It reduces swelling and edema by evenly distributing pressure throughout the breasts, shoulders and back regions. The adjustable straps on the side allow for 2.5 inches of adjustability in order to reduce tension and swelling. The postoperative recovery will include maintaining dressings for 7 days, not changing the dressings or the bra. At day 7, the patient is seen back in the office. Dressings are removed and then replaced twice a day. Patients should remain in the Dr. Linder Bra in order to maintain support all times, 24/7. At this time, the swelling is reduced and the adjustable straps can be taken in one clip size which will reduce approximately 3/4 of an inch of chest wall diameter. After 17 days, final sutures are removed and the adjustable clips can be brought in to the second or third position. The Dr. Linder Bra can be found on www.linderproducts.com.
